Most Igbos have lost interest in voting in Nigeria, they see it as a waste of time. Anambra elections, less than 10% voted. All the voting since 1960 has led Nigeria no where.

Don’t give up yet. You guys should be firm and believe in Peter Obi, Umahi, or Anyim will win the presidential election.

You are majority tribe, just like the Yorubas and the Hausas. You shouldn’t be seeing yourselves as minorities politically and stop saying Igbo lost interest coz last I saw, Peter Obi is getting massive support from the Igbos so what’s the problem here?

So, you mean Igbo people won't do anything as long as Yoruba people are not allowed into Aso Rock?

..but this is not about Yoruba people, this is about Igbo people being compensated by the PDP for their loyal support and ready made votes since 1999

Stopping Yoruba Presidency is the whole essence and primary objective of igbo politics now going into 2023, their own interest in the presidency is secondary

Dont worry about us, we dont wait for Presidency like you guys, we are doing fine without Presidency. You can always ask Katsina people, where bandits even collect tax, if you doubt

We have been in opposition in our history for God knows when so the Yorubas know how to cope with being in opposition or being in power.

Don’t try to runaway from the facts. Since the late 1950s to 1999, we Yorubas have always been in opposition while you Ibos have been an appendage of the Fulanis In democratic regimes.

What we are telling you is to stand up and summon courage and support Obi, Anyim to get the PDP ticket and Inturn get the presidency. Don’t deviate from the argument by shouting opposition, you Ibos only got to opposition in 2015 so why the noise?

How can you not comprehend his simple submission? If the South cannt equitably agree on power rotation then the North rules perpetually.
NGpatriot:

See, the question remains what will Igbo people do if the PDP did not zone to the SE.

What will you do?

.. but due to your own poor and gutter level IQ, inability to properly read, comprehend and follow simple internet discussion and even stay on topic, you derailed yourself by lamenting over the North.

This is why many of your fail WAEC we are talking about A and he's lamenting over B.

You should have put your meager IQ to good use by starting your own topic to obsess over the North.

This is why going back and forth with some of you is always pointless.

You mistakenly assume you are talking with fair-minded reasonable folk

The reality is that in 1960 the Eboes collaborated with the Fulani against the Yoruba

BECAUSE
They believed the Fulani were dumb and they could get one over them compared to the Yoruba and so they conspired to jail Awolowo and took other actions when they were in power that were more nepotistic than anything Buhari has done. This was especially the case in the education sector where they cornered through Zik over 80% of scholarships and sought to control UNILAG and UI

They miscalculated in 1966 and the rest is history
Again in 1979 and 1983 they did a deal with Shagari all so they could be relevant in the centre whist relegating Yoruba to opposition.

Very conveniently they want to pretend those things never happened and that they are the victims.

The simple truth is this: Yoruba do not have any need to be desperate about being in Abuja . We have Lagos and Lagos will always exert a greater influence on the economy of Nigeria than Abuja. With what is happening in Lekki and the recent VAT judgment the future of Lagos and by extension the SW is bright and brighter than that of any other part or Nigeria.
We do not have to be president just stay true to our restructuring agenda. Let them do their worst we will be alright whatever happens in 2023.. The best things that have happened to us did not come via Obasanjo. Ki lo wa nbe ti o ti be kuro

Did they vote Abiola?

The truth is Eboes bear a bitter grudge against the Yoruba for the Biafra civil war. Their lifetime dream is to see the Yoruba in pain or shame

There's a difference between throwing tantrums and always throwing your votes away like awoof votes with nothing in return and still incapable of doing anything to change your precarious situation.

Yoruba people rolled up their sleeves and changed the narratives in their favor.

The SW is the largest beneficiary from the current administration, the largest chunk of money and infrastructures from our national budget ends up in the SW, the VP is from the SW and the next president is coming from the SW.

God no dey help people who no dey help themselves..

Congratulations to the SW and the North, all that political intelligence they have had to lead Nigeria for over 50 years since the end of the war has only made Nigeria the poverty capital of the world and third most terrorised country on earth

Sadly for you, the issue per our political landscape has nothing to do with rotation, it's more about political parties and where you park your votes and where belong politically and ideologically.

Your southern unity is within the political party you belong to, you and your southern people within that party should unite and seek recognition and presidential tickets from the party you slave for and give your votes to election after election since 1999.

You can not trash one party day after day, year after year and election after election, call them an evil party, abuse, insult and denigrate their members and leaders day after day and still bore us with the nerve and audacity about southern unity.

That southern unity all of a sudden is your rallying cry, your new blackmail and hostage-taking scam, your new fake southern crocodile tears.

Btw, will you and the SE unite in the south to vote for Tinubu? No, so, spare me the disingenuous and fake southern unity rubbish, you are today in a precarious position after realizing that years of peddling, hatred, bitterness, political foolery and miscalculations did not help you in any way, now that the train is fast leaving the train station, you all of a sudden what to fool and scam us with your fake southern rubbish.

Follow your rainbow, reap what you sow, seek your political future and relevance from the people you've been voting for and let other people do the same, freedom of association is a fundamental right in our constitution so associate with your preferred party and people.

Even without the presidency, the SW is still the largest beneficiary in terms of budgetary spending and federal infrastructures.

The PDP has never given an Igbo person its Presidential ticket since it was formed in 1998. That’s 24 straight years.

The real challenge now is, what will Ndigbo do if PDP does not zone its ticket to the South East in 2023?

Just asking for a friend....

One Nigeria Igbo will lament but still go out and vote like zombie.....

I disagree. The SW is the largest net contributor giving a lot more to the federation account than it gets back and so he largest beneficiaries are those that contribute nothing and get so much from US

On reflection you must realize the impotence of those words which have no more meaning than a declaration from you that it will rain tomorrow.

You have absolutely no influence in determining that "north rules" with 5% votes. That is infantile wishful thinking

What are YOU going to do to bring that to fruition? It is not in your power

so start talking and thinking like an adult by facing reality

Come 2023 we will have a president from the SS or SW and you will just continue grumbling online
