I think setting up rice mill is not the problem but the technology to cultivate rice correctly, take for instance here in Lokoja I have heard from very reliable able source most of the paddy rice farm around Lokoja are bought by Kano business men for processing in their rice mills, thereby making rice expensivE Here in Lokoja. I am of the opinion if the technology for rice farming can be gotten right, the price will come down , even the rice mill build by Kogi state government around Yagba area of the state is equally looking for paddy rice to feed the rice mill 1 Like |
