Good evening fam, How important is the mail from BRP decision office when travelling to the UK, I mistakenly deleted the message from my mail without printing it☹️ plus is it possible to get another mail from them? If yes which address should I use? Thank you please help a sister. |

brown1234: Unfortunately that won’t suffice. The UKVI isn’t dumb that they would even consider that transfer of property thing few days to your application. Instead, you can include family photos with your parents. Since you operate a POS business and also have such funds deposited in your salary account, it would have been better the funds from the POS business goes into a separate account from the salary account. But since that’s not the case, you would have to explain why it is so, and also differentiate which transaction is your salary and which is from POS. Quite hard though. Lastly, why are you going to the Uk? And who is sponsoring? |

Oluwaloniglory7: 1) First of all, it will be right including your wife’s statement as proof that she earns and equally supports the family, even though she isn’t going on the trip. It helps the ECO to judge your living circumstance. 2) Secondly, you should be able to indicate how much your wife contributes to the affairs of the home, and such should be noted in debit transactions. 3) Thirdly, if you contribute 100k as part of money for family upkeep, then it will be wise to include how much your wife contributes as well. 4) Your wife and your kids are your dependents |

tana4gud: When you read the mail, what information was contained in it? Did it state where you would pick up the BRP upon arrival in the UK? 1 Like |

You can equally send a paid mail to UKVI including your reference number. I’m sure they can be of help. 1 Like |

To recover your emails watch YouTube videos. You don't need BRP letter at the border except your documents are questionable, once you have a valid entry document which is your vignette then you should be fine. I wouldnt bother so much about the BRP letter tana4gud: 1 Like |

😂😂😂 please ignore the emojis, just noticing that Nairaland has made an improvement and allowing the use of device emojis, rather than that of their site. 👏🏾 |

The pick up point is already determined by applicant, most choose school, few choose post office, few choose family or friends address, I believe the applicant know where he or she chose as pick up point for BRP, again I wouldn't be so bothered about the email Mrmoney90: 1 Like |

True but I have been to order and also read people's comment on border entry, BRP letter isn't requirement, passport with vignette is and on the spot assessment, hence questions like what is Ur business in UK. It's like choosing self service on Ur application and taking all Ur documents to biometric, again I wouldn't be to bothered about having the letter it is not an entry requirement

tana4gud: Just like the person who responded above, I’m sure you really do have nothing to worry about. Your visa is all you need. |

Hi guys, I have a question please. If the main applicant for Global Talent visa failed to mention his unmarried partner in his application, would that be a problem when the unmarried partner wants to apply to join him. I would appreciate your input guys 🙏🏾 |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ozededes: 1:33am On Jan 24, 2023 |
It doesn't matter, what matters is the proof of relationship, they expect people to make honest errors such as yours, as long as your dependent can proof the relationship such as marriage certificate, pictures etc, then you are fine. Kiki25: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Mrmoney90: 3:00am On Jan 24, 2023 |
Ajalalomo: Yes, For the general application including yours and everyone else involved in that trip. Those will serve as proof of ties. You equally need a letter of absence from work (leave letter). Important note: also include your nephew’s birth certificate |

Thank you @ Ozededes. I really hope it won't be a problem seeing that we are not yet married. Though we have documents to show that we've been leaving together for 2 years. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Mrmoney90: 10:09am On Jan 24, 2023 |
Ajalalomo: Include all you have said plus the ones I have said as well.. he doesn’t need much documentation on his end, just the adequate proof of relationship with your nephew, which includes letters of consent from his both parents, affidavit of guardianship from the court, his birth certificate. Then you can add your supporting documents as sponsor to show you can finance the trip. |

Hello wonderful people, my wife will be getting her COS in a few days time, HR already informed her maintenance wouldn't be ticked; she tried convincing the HR but they won't budge, they argued they have no vacant accomodations for now, so we have to cater for ourselves: My question is, can I submit my statement of account to cover for the proof of fund(POF) she as the principal applicant, myself and two kids as dependents, note, transferring the money to her account now means we have to wait for another 28days cycle. Is it compulsory she must have the POF in her account? Thanks. |

Dear House, I just applied and paid for a 6 moth visa for my elderly mom and myself ( opted for self service) to see mt brother in the UK- to travel March 29 . My mom is a regular traveller and has been issued visa 4 times, but this is my first time. The reason I'm giving being that I'm going to assist her with luggage and see my bro after over 5 years and return to my work in Lagos during two week leave. I used mybankstatement from GTB for last six months with Ticket Number and password for UK Deputy High Commission. Hope it's ok? I have appointment with TLS Ikeja on February 2. Can someone please tell me what to expect, what happens there and what I should go along with. Thanks in advance |

brown1234: Well, as long as you are financially capable of sponsoring the trip, then you can go ahead. Your job/business should be a proof of ties too |
