Oga, the frustration of bad car on Lagos road is much worse that whatever stress u may be having with public transport. I can only advice you to save enough money to buy at least a good grade car, so you won't end up spending more.
Get good Toyota Product or Benz 190 or any other model.
Contact a reliable mechanic before u purchase any car.

You may regret buying a car of such grade and value. Have some patience and make ur money up to 500k and u will get a car u will stand to enjoy for years. If you get a car for 250k, u will be in the mechanic every other day.
