I'm shocked and amazed, that people are actually campaigning for this rogue and a God-father of agberoism. This thief is determined to sacrifice all the humongous wealth that He stole just to clinch the parties ticket and eventually rig his way to power with the blood of any who attempts to get on the way and then convert the NIgerian state to his personal enterprise and recoup his expenditures with as many bullion vans he can possibly get. By the merciful grace of God, this thief will never succeed. All his plans and strategy will be continuously frustrated in Jesus Christ name. He is definitely not the one the country need at this time to pilot our affairs. We have suffered enough. 1 Like 1 Share |

jamesversion: Your statement is very unclear. Riverians do not vote Yorubas, who do they vote? Court prevented APC's participation in the governorship election because of conspiracy between Abe and Wike while Bayelsa APC landslide victory was robbed by Supreme Court. If the way IBOS have been opposing the Yorubas since MKO Abiola's era with everything at their disposal is the same way Yorubas have been supporting their kinsman with all their resources, I am not sure the IBOS will still be doing business in Lagos. There would have been chaos but the opposition to a Yoruba man starts from his people the Yorubas. Your statement that Riverians don't vote a Yoruba man and that HISTORY should be his teacher drew my attention because of Chief MKO Abiola. Despite Chief Abiola's victory, he was very sad that he lost in Rivers State. By then Bayelsa had not been created. Abiola lost Rivers, he was very sad. Rivers was very strategic to him. People attributed the loss to heavy population of IBOs in Rivers and the Ikwerre people. Abiola won from Benin up to Calabar lost in Rivers. This time around, the IBOS are against Tinubu more than they were against MKO but Wike has separated the Ikwerres from the IBOS. Abiola won in Kano while Tofa lost but Tofa won in Rivers while Abiola lost , that is IBOS factor for you. Afenifere and Yorubas have not taken time to think. Yorubas must think. 1 Like |

babaolofin: I sincerely don't why you feel convenient to rope Igbos into a matter that is not totally in their control. Yeah, granted, Igbos are native to Rivers but only in small percentages and they cannot realistically on their own alter electoral outcomes of such scale. So please I beg to differ. If anything, two factors are the likeliest of causes for such electoral rejection. One is dated, the other is abit recent. I will go with the latter. 1) The oil industry and the cunningness of the Yorubas: Unless otherwise proven with undisputable facts, there is no oil in Lagos state, and quite a few thousand barrels produced in Ondo (Ijaw ondo). Yet the Yoruba has sponsored, hoodwinked, coerced and lied to the whole World with all form of disparage and underhand tactics available to tarnish the Niger delta region where oil is produced and portrayed Lagos as the ideal place for oil business. They have ensured Niger delta's oil is drilled in Niger delta and the proceeds and benefits enjoyed only by Lagos. The media, the intelligentsia and even Yorubas in security agencies have come together in the recent times to sabotage the Niger delta, make her look worthless, only good for drilling oil and leaving the goddammit place ASAP. The Niger deltans are considered unfit for oil industry jobs and are only employed due to community chance. They are considered lazy, problem makers and generally unruly. All these stereotypes were planned and acted upon by Yorubas. Every yoruba in the oil industry implements this agenda to the fullest, Yesterday, today and tomorrow. 2) Since the inception of Nigeria, S/Western region is more of a rival ethnicity to Eastern region, nay Rivers. Believe it or not, southerners are in competition with themselves while the Northerners are clearly more united. Southerners are not united by a common language or religion, and whatever southern unity claim is fake. We are not enemies per se but competitors vying for whatever gains and advantages we can have over the other. Nigeria, is more or less winner takes all, and anyone is allowed to choose wherever his assured advantage will lie. |

You will always find people like this in Nigeria, even if the candidate appeared from hell with two horns on his forehead, he will still get supporters among Nigerians looking for who to wet their palms. 1 Like 1 Share |

jamesversion: What you wrote is totally thrash. Nonsense without any iota of sense at all. I believed you have read some of my submission on issues since 2013 till date. I would have left you in your fools paradise but for record purposes, I will respond a little bit. Firstly, South West has never been in competition with any region in Nigeria. Zik inherited Herbert Macaulay (Yoruba) structure and Yorubas blindly followed Zik until Awolowo movement liberated them at Western House Parliament through Carpet crossing. Awolowo movement development has nothing to do with South East or North competition. The remnant Zik followers in South West constituted themselves as opposition to Awolowo before Akintola problem created another opposition. The internal opposition in South West is enormous and not available anywhere in Africa. You said Abiola lost in Rivers because of oil and the Yorubas cunningness of making Lagos the Head office of oil companies. This shows your shallow mindedness. All over the world there are Industrial cities and there are commercial cities and there are major Sea Ports and Airports. The port of Lagos dated back before oil discovery. Lagos is the only city in West Africa with Peninsula and Islands within Islands and later prior to Independence became a British Territory (COLONY) on an African land. This was before Pretoria in South Africa. Commercial cities often host Head offices for inter operation and collaboration with other companies and agencies. Lagos is the Commercial Capital of West Africa. Abiola won in Edo, Delta, AkwaIbom and Cross River. ABIOLA lost Rivers because of IBOS. You said the oil in Ondo State is few thousands of barrel and in Ijaw area. You are very disgusting and irritating. So the Ilaje and Ikale oil and bitumen belong to the Ijaws? What is oil when some cities in the world made more money in Aviation or Tourism that Nigeria makes from oil. If Lagos was not part of Nigeria, Lagos is richer than many countries in Africa including Rivers with all the oil. If Lagos is not a former Nigeria capital, large scale exploration of oil would have been taken place in Lagos. You said no oil in Lagos what of Aje field. If Baba Folawiyo has not staked his life to prospect for oil in Lagos, they will still be saying no oil in Lagos. Two other fields are coming online soonest. So it is the Yorubas in the oil companies that prevented the Rivers people from employment? What about those who claimed they are from Rivers but we know they are not. Most of the local contracts are given to them. Most of the contractors who claimed they are from Rivers or Bayelsa are telling lies. Ken Saro Wiwa know them. Isaac Adaka Boro know them that was why they didn't collaborate and cooperate with them. It is a shame to Rivers that Abiola won in Kano Tofa's town but lost in Rivers. There is no unity in South because of the IBOS. In 2017, Emmanuel UDOM and Ambode tried it was flopped by the IBOS. Last year, Enugu State hosted Southern States Governors, no South East governor was in attendance. Enugu governor was just at home, if the meeting had taken place at Abia, he wouldn't have been there. That was an insult to South West governors who came to Enugu. The South East governors refused to host Southern States governors at Enugu to avoid Wike because he had a case against FG over Tax. The way the IBOS behave and defended their kinsman irrespective of his shortcomings if Yorubas defend their kinsman the same way , they will not find Lagos easy. The Yorubas are the first enemies of their kinsman. They lead opposition against their great men. It is not done by any tribe in Nigeria. 2 Likes |

babaolofin: You seem fixated on Igbos, dunno why. Not that I particularly care but it seems to deflect from reality. Igbos do not determine what happens in Rivers, so keep them out. I would have loved to respond to your history session but I don't love educating people for free. Maybe if you give me your sister in marriage I will have the need to want to help your ignorance. Until then, Adios. |
