5th October, 2020 on Teachers day, PMB promised Nigeria Teachers a special salary scales which was to take effect from January 2022. This is February and nothing has been done.
Nigeria Teachers receive one of the worst pay in Nigeria yet the government want the best for the country. The fact is that most children of the government officials do not school in public schools rather private or outside Nigeria. The children of the less privilege goes to public schools where the teachers teach when they want to and how they want to. If a Teacher is treated well, I believe her/she will teach with joy and peace of mind.
I wonder who told us that Teacher's reward is in heaven?
