Some of do not know Bayelsa state very well, the land mass is small but the place is a difficult plave to reside. One to build road in that place might take you 10* what it take for a normal house building it will take you more in Bayelsa yes corruption has also affected them due to bad government

This is just one of the riverine communities that lay the golden eggs especially in the Niger Delta, yet deprived of the most basic amenities.



We wish other governors who are yet to address the plight of these riverine communities copy from Govs. Diri and Wike.

Shame on all present and past leaders of oil producing states. Till date such communities are more than communities with average infrastructures. Show me a community in any oil producing states that can be called a town in any developed nation. Look at Dubai or Singapore and u will spit on the leaders from all oil producing states. Without federal govt a state that wants to transform it self can do so.

Almost all nigerian state have corrupt governors the root cause of their lack of development is the nigerian state that have been using their resources to develop lagos, abuja and the rest of nigeria. They should be allowed to control their God given natural resources so that they can use it to develop their region the peanuts they receives monthly as federal allocation is clearly not enough to develop their riverine swanpy terrain.
