Marketing Executive (Full Time) – Victoria Island, Lagos

An IT Firm in Victoria Island is currently in need of Marketing Executives.
Summary
The Marketing Executive is responsible for driving brand awareness through on-site, face-to-face interaction with prospective customers. They are called ground breakers here. Field marketers are liaisons between prospective customers and SHIVTECH, as they provide valuable information about our products and services to our target audience. They foster human relationships through communication and the distribution of marketing collateral in order to drive sales.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of field marketing campaigns. S/he will work closely with marketing managers and the sales team to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and complete field marketing campaigns after conducting preliminary research
• Develop robust knowledge of all product lines/services
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
• Manage social media activity surrounding field marketing campaigns
• Report weekly/monthly on the status of field marketing activities
• Document and share lead/customer intelligence with sales team.
• Arrange meetings for the sales team to pitch for business and close deals
Requirements
• HND/BSc in relevant field (Computer Science/Business Administration/Marketing/Mass Communication)
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Marketing
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably
• Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
• Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
