The North were the first to demand power rotates back to them. When yaradua died and GEJ completed his tenure, they demanded for four years (which we know would have been 8 due to incumbency).

GEJ broke the cycle since he was incumbent and the north used that as part of 2015 to do 8 years of Buhari.

This means a reset of zoning happened and it is now turn for the south. Bilateral agreement is zoning. If you do not demand and get it in Nigeria of today. A sectional cabal is going to subdue your region. Keep playing academic. With the power of the presidency, any region can retain presidency to themselves. Without clamouring in one voice and demanding, you open yourself to be cheated.

The core North is ready to claim the whole middle belt in projecting their numbers. When it comes to giving them political powers, they are seen as outsiders.

A good percentage of the middle belt identifies with the south and this makes the south have more numbers than the north. But for political projection, they claim everything and even go as far as waging jihad and terrorism to conquer the territory.

This great country belong to all of us, let the presidecy be rotated among six geo-polical zones at least in the name of peace, trianqulity and overall development of beloved country.
