I have read most of the comments here and I'm really digusted to say the least. First, most of the commenters did not read the news article but jumped into conclusion and started blaming and insulting Islam just because it happened in Iran, a Shia country. Nowhere was it mentioned that the crime was committed in the name of Islam, but typical of them to blame Islam because of the hatred. This honour killing is a typical Iranian culture which the Iranian authority is doing nothing to put an end to, it's not done anywhere in the Islamic world because murder in whatever guise is not acceptable in Islam and the punishment for it is death.

Honor Killing happens in all Islamic Countries, from Afghanistan to Pakistan, to Saudi Arabia and even the Muslim parts of India.

Islam has two Sects: SHiA and SUNNI.
Iran is the Spiritual Head of Shia Muslims while Saudi Arabia is the spiritual head of SUNNI Muslims, which is why the two are always at each others throat, along with their cronies.
