Can anyone truly contest the validity of Christ as the promised Messiah? No

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the messianic prophecies in the scriptures. His life was a true reflection of divinity; he had authority, compassion and great power over all things - and still he was never tyrannical. Rather he taught and guided us to the path of redemption through his teachings and gave His life as an atonement for our sins.

All these great qualities could not have been found in a mere man - these attributes was proof of the Word made flesh, the promised Messiah fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

Absolutely correct op,

I addition to the great things he did, we also read in the bible that he put forth a great prophecy in one of his parables that will last forever, This prophecy has come to pass as we see it today.

Matthew 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying,The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Matthew 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

The kingdom of heaven is Christianity on earth.
Christianity was the least of all faiths started like a mustard seed(Tiny seed) with just only 120 people(Act 1:15)
Today after approx.2000 years, that 120 people have grown to billions of believers worldwide.

The question is : How did Jesus happens to know that this trended was going to occur? (a question for the atheists and every other antagonists)

Jesus is truly great whether we believe it or not.

Everything about Jesus of Nazareth, his birth through the Holy Spirit, his speeches, his miracles, his death, his resurrection and how the Holy Spirit later came to anoint Jesus' disciples are all in the pages of the Bible which anyone can doubt it's authenticity if they have reasons to do so.
Therefore what evidence do we have today to prove that Jesus is the rightful Messiah (Christ) apart from what we read in the pages of books? smiley

When the heart is filled with unbelief, it often disguises its doubt by presenting it as a "logical" contest of truth. For such people, what evidence do they have to contest it?

According to the Bible many contemporaries of Jesus never agreed that he is the Messiah.
So if those that lived with him, saw him, heard him teach, witnessed his miraculous works and even observed so many prophecies come true in the life of Jesus yet they don't believe he is the Messiah.
What evidence do we who only read books have as proof that Jesus of Nazareth is truly the Messiah? smiley

THAT WE DO NOT DECEND INTO SEMANTICS,

JESUS IS MUCH MORE THAN A MESSIAH.

JESUS IS:-

THE LIGHT OF GOD IN HUMANITY. THAT'S THE INTEREST, APTITUDES, ABILITIES AND CAPABILITIES IN US.

THE GOOD ICON OF GOD IN HUMANS. THAT'S OUR DEVELOPMENT, IMPROVEMENT, EXPANSION ENLARGEMENT AND EXTENSION ORIENTATION IN US.

THE LIFE OF GOD IN US. JESUS IS OUR FEELINGS & ACTIONS; THINKINGS & INTERACTIONS AND REASONINGS & MOVEMENTS.

JESUS IS THE FAITH; THE HOPE; PEACE OF GOD; GOD IN LOVE AND ALL SUCCESSES IN HUMANITIES.

JESUS MAKES US JESUSES IN GOD THAT'S THE ANOINTED DESTINIES OF HUMANKIND.

JESUS IS "ODU-DU-IWA IN YO-RU-BA LANGUAGE.

GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY (OLORUN OLODUMARE).

HAPPY SUNDAY.
