That money is probably her legit money, earned from legit begging.

Begging can be profitable. Back in the late 80's there was even a beggar in Kaduna who earned enough money to build himself a nice, decent house..from begging!

I don't blame the cops for arresting her, after all, some beggars might be part of criminal kidnap gangs, but that is most likely the procceds of her legit hustle.

That's how a mad man was caught in Mowe in possession of iPhones & cash of 250k , not until one of the agberos noticed the mad man was making a call ,so they approached him but he didn't say anything & that's how they seized his jabanjantis & discovered those items .I later learnt that he died because they beat him to stupor , but before then they took him to the police station , they said they can't detain a mad man.

the way the money is arranged looks suspicious .
Lets say 50k was from 10 clients who had naira notes and the other client do not have 50k naira so he /she gave her dollar equivanlent in place of naira . Think twice and be wise . The woman na child picker maybe

Suspicious my foot.

Most of these beggars are informants for kidnappers, that money is too huge
No she may not be. I really want every state to expell these buggers from their streets. Giving them money has turned begging a business and made them lazy.

Many of these beggers built houses, bought keke napep, bought many things giving them profit in return.
Govt need to stop these nonsense begging!

Begging is a big business. The day my friend told me about a particular begger that has house and shops. From that day I stop giving him money. He still beg till today.

Most rich people give them block. That 100$ most likely from a foreigner or someone who was ask to give out 100$ dollar from spiritualist.

These beggers don't spend this money. They don't have bank account and they just save it like this.

They have money made from rich people giving them block mostly for ritual stuff. Some ritualist are been told to go give beggers block.

Ask question before concluding that is how to reason
What is the point of education if you cannot reason?
The starting point is that YOU DO NOT KNOW because you were not there

You talk about the way the money is arranged is suspicious? Who arranged it? Do you know?
How would it be arranged that won't be suspicious?

A beggar in a good location with high traffic and compassionate people will make over 2k comfortably. Assuming N500 is used for food, that comes to 45k monthly and over N540k in a year. So it is not surprising.
This doesn’t mean you should stop showing compassion.

and she collects alms only in N500 notes, or she goes to the bank to change it N500 notes?

What's the big deal and suspicion
about❓

Beggars in strategic locations make
over 2000 to 5000 daily. Some people
drop 50, some drop 100 and others
can drop 500 to 1k. And she saves for
months and years.

These beggars don't pay rent, TP or
operate bank account.

A man who has made hundreds of
millions from stealing government dollars
can decide to go and drop dollars as
alms.

You think that Hausas who are the
specialists in begging don't know what
they are doing❓ Some beggars even
have 4 wives.

This is an innocent woman and I hope
police won't Rob her.

stealing government

U got it right. You said it well. Govt need to stop these begging because is a business for lazy, heartless people!

You do not know the circumstances . Is there a law stopping her changing her notes to 500 or 1000 naira

We jump to irrational conclusions too quickly
Do we know how long it took to gather that money

We simply have no clue and should ask questions rather than jump to conclusions

I think it's the height of naivete and foolishness to presume that this wretched looking beggar cannot own such amount of money.
These people have big money but they still beg. Some have apprentices that do account for them. Some have other businesses like transportation and the like. And someone is arresting her? For what?
