This super-cop is not very smart as we thought. For drug dealers to beat all the airport security with 25k of drugs, and you think you can just boycott them easily like that. Those dealers are powerful cartels and have strong links in government, not just in Nigeria but in all the countries they operate

Mandatory Grounds for Refusal of extradition under the Nigeria law.

Section 3 subsection 11, No 9 of the Nigerian extradition law states as follows:

“Extradition application will be rejected where the fugitive criminal has been charged with an offence, under Nigerian law, other than the offence for which his surrender is sought, but has neither been discharged nor acquitted of the charge.”

Many Nigerians want him extradited to be US because he might not be prosecuted by the Nigeria government

I didn't even need to see this law to know that NDLEA calling him a criminal already means they would sentence him upon which someone serving term can't go and serve concurrently in another country

Is just a pity that we find ourselves in this terrible country. I expect the private organization, lawyers and the disgusting national assembly members to have started calling for the suspension of the IGP by now.
Even the president, vice president and cabinet members should be ashamed of themselves.
Naija is truly a seasonal movie that is so predictable. In d course of acting this movie they have shot themselves on d foot as we now know what we never knew before now that d supposedly suspended officer was actually on d field with his retinue of boys as if nothing happened. Nigeria is a comedy. From end of probe to trial and d rest is history. They are doing everything possible to keep Abba Kyari within d territory of d most fantastically corrupt contraption, paint him as a criminal here so that he will stand trial here knowing that even upon conviction here he can even still be leading his troops from detention. In saner climes d IG of Police under whose office d IG IRT was domiciled should be on a hot seat now and be explaining why d disgraced and suspended bad guy was still in "active" service.[/quote]

That's my concern. The 'men of the underworld' will do anything to silence him.

That label of a drug runner is way too much. They want to make sure he doesn't sing in the wrong hands.
