Vivo V23e, V23 5G To Unveil In Nigeria Today by postbox: 9:13am On Feb 16, 2022
The Vivo V23e and V23 5G smartphone officially launched on January 5, 2022, will be unveiled in Nigeria today, Tuesday, February 15 at 3 p.m. Providence Hotel GRA Ikeja.

These Vivo smartphones are expected to be across categories, including mid-range, flagship, and affordable.

V23 5G is expected to launch with a 6.44-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Vivo V23 5G runs Android 12 and is powered by a 4200mAh non-removable battery. The Vivo V23 5G supports proprietary fast charging.

The Vivo V23e is expected to launch with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, Android 11-based FunTouch OS 12, and a 4,050mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

Brand Spur Nigeria reports, the Vivo V23 5G is expected to sell in Nigeria at ₦164,922 while the other at ₦117,250.

Vivo needs to up their game..

They are still stuck in the past in many ways..

While other brands have moved on from dewdrop notch..

They are still releasing current phones with it..

While others have made 5000mAh batteries the norm..

They are still releasing 4000mAh..

One wonders whether they are not from the same Oppo and Oneplus family..

And for a phone costing over 160K..

One would expect a 90Hz refresh rate,at the very least..

It's not trying to rival flagship... that's why the parent company have one plus..

And 160k in dollars is how much?...this is a "low-end midranger"

I'm not talking about FLAGSHIPS..

It's not the only 160K phone around..

I can name a bunch with higher refresh rates..

Even cheaper options..

And what's with the outdated designs?

That notch is straight from 3 years ago..

Is that also a function of its price point?
