Autonomous community

First of , I am from Umuoji. Chikwadoaku Muogbo is from my village and was a former director at CBN. A well educated and accomplished professional.

Secondly , Umuoji is not a kingdom because we don't practice kingship. What we have is a warrant chief office/Igwe , which was constituted by the Whites. Okelafor Ugwumba , ogalanya ili-efi was the first warrant chief because of his wealth and influence. He donated the land where our lady's Catholic church and Mater Amabilis secondary school was built. The warrant chief given to him was a just a thank you gift for giving us a land.

Before the whites, we have Eze Umuoji which is hereditary and belong to Offorma family of Abo , Umuoji.

After , the death of Igwe Cyril Enweze , Odezulu Igbo , Ezeamalu Nnaedu became the regent. So , I don't get the Royal majesty attached to his name...smh

By , constitution , Chikwadoaku Muogbo is the credible Igwe elect. All these one won't fly. Soludo and Muogbo were co workers at CBN.

Umuoji is not an autonomous community, please. We are older than Nri, Onicha , Nnewi etc.
