I've been wondering the fate of pregnant women against covid-19. Some companies are making it mandatory for everyone to take the vaccine. I have a colleague who is pregnant and this is her ordeal. I thought it wise to ask Nairaland family. Does anyone know any pregnant woman that has taken the vaccine especially in her first trimester?. How was the reaction like?. I do know our body and reaction to the vaccine may vary, but in general, is it harmful?, What could be the risks involve?. Is it worth it. And if anyone has taken it, which of them is really safe. If I was in her shoes, I will not take it. The Jab has no protection against Covid. The Jab has nothing to do with her job. If what the Jab has done to so many people all over the world including Nigeria is put out, you will cut off the head of anyone that comes near u with it. I Personally saw a Police woman last week whose body had swollen after the second Jab. Everything possible has been done to treat her to no effect. No. The vaccine won't be given to pregnant or nursing mothers, especially the Moderna or Astrazeneca vaccines in Nigeria. Pregnant and nursing women in developed countries took the vaccines but I guess it's the J&J or Pfizer. Till she has given birth and is done nursing, she should hold off and just protect herself by wearing masks and washing her hands. 1 Like |

I won't even advice anyone to take the vacines, pregnancy or no pregnancy, considering the controversies surrounding it and also in other not to hurt an innocent baby. Moreover, being vaccinated does not stop you from contracting the virus. Shalom! |
