JOB DESCRIPTION AND PROFILE The bitMARTe Implementation Manager is responsible for the Technical Deployment of the bitMARTe platform and ensuring that the system is up and running round the clock 365 days a year. He ensures that the right level of resources and work protocol is in place to ensure zero downtime and achieve client satisfaction on the bitMARTe platform at all times. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining the project technical implementation and execution plan and function requirement document. The implementation manager will often work with external clients as needed and engage clients on-site. He or she ensures project is implemented within contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and impeccable security at all times.

EXPERIENCE • Minimum of 12 years working experience in the ICT domain with reputable organizations. • At least 6 years of experience in a software project management role, including experience successfully leading teams. • Prior experience with hardware, systems, and software implementation. • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills. • Prior experience in agile methodology. • Prior experience in Agile design and testing • Prior experience with eCommerce or systems of similar capabilities would be a highly weighted advantage. • Must have been leading a project in the last 3 years, hence possess recent project deployment and execution experience.

QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or a related field, management experience and excellent communication skills. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. • Project Management or Similar Training or Certification is an advantage

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop detailed project management tools (e.g., plans and action item logs) to ensure a smooth go live of bitMARTe and seamless operation prior to launch. • Develop and maintain project technical implementation and enhancement project plans including robust testing and debugging of all systems prior to launch. • Ensure the bitMARTs system is fully functioning round the clock with all systems committed to client’s delivery with ZERO downtime. • Ensures that a flawless rollout of the platform is completed on time, within budget and exceeds the clients’ expectations. • Leads in modifications of specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and User Manuals of program prior and post launch. • Ensures that adequate organizational resources are proactively in place at all times. • Manage and co-ordinate the implementation team responsible for the testing and rollout, and day to day functioning of the bitMARTe platform and associated applications. • Supervises and oversees the implementation team on day-to day performance of project tasks, pre and post launch. • Oversees the smooth functioning of the platform and leads the upgrade or revision of application’s capabilities based on client needs, requirements and feedback. • Responsible for the maintenance of the application and ensures there is zero downtime; and an active planning for immediate system recovery where required. • Provide front-line primary support to major customers whether they ask questions over email, via our help widget, or on the phone. • Convey timelines, deliverables, risks, delays, and impacts to project team members and lead teams as required. • Anticipate delays and initiate plans and alternative solutions. • Proactively identify changes we can make to our application to make enhancements to customers’ experience. • Proactively develop and deploy a continuous improvement workflow to ensure our platform remains a cutting-edge product as technology evolves. • Own a variety of customer implementation activities, including onboarding and product training of large customers. • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the smooth execution of all technical aspects of the related projects.
• Liaise between departmental stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure alignment of all systems implementation.
• Collaborate with all cross-functional team members/system owners to accomplish required tasks and provide project updates. • Provision of technical support to internal users and customer support departments • Troubleshooting of system related issues escalated • Generation of business reports.
