Paris Saint-Germain are desperate to keep their young talent, Kylian Mbappe at the club, they have reportedly offered him a contract that would make him the highest paid footballer on the planet, Newspremises reports.

In a move to keep him at the Parc des Princes beyond this summer, the Ligue 1 giants are ready to make him the highest-paid player in the world by offering him a deal well in excess of £500,000-a-week with the total package reaching 1m a week according to a report by the Independent.

The world cup winner has just four months left to run on his current deal, and is currently free to speak to other clubs across Europe over a free transfer.

The striker has been the target of interest from Real Madrid, who made two bids for the France international last summer, both of which were turned down by PSG.

The mega offer can never be matched by Real Madrid who also want to sign Mbappe.

It is not the first time that the club have attempted to tie down Mbappe, with sporting director Leonardo revealing last summer the player had turned down their best ever offer to any player.

mbappe is bent on leaving...PSG should stop forcing tinz, mbappe is a professional n if he needs more money, paris would av easily made him the best paid player in the world last season wen he was asked to sign a new deal, even if na 800k per week, PSG will pay..
but mbappe made it clear dt he needs new challenge, he wants to win the UCL n most importantly the ballon d or n this current is his best bet..
with Madrid influence, a successful individual season even without a UCL would Gv him the balloon d or slot..

It seems like a gamble not to let an unhappy player leave especially when Madrid are ready to splash over200m for his signature but the gamble paid off. I wonder where paris would have been this season had they relied on injury prone neymar or out of form messi.
