Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo, survives autocrash


Popular Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo, on Saturday morning escaped death in an autocrash in Lekki area of Lagos (South-West Nigeria).

The crash, which occurred just after midnight, saw Uche‘s car spinning out of control and ramming headlong into an oncoming vehicle.

Both cars were said to have been completely destroyed in the crash. Uche was rushed to the hospital while the fate of the occupants of the other car or the cause of the crash could not be confirmed.

Entertainment blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus, said on her blog that when she contacted the actress on Saturday morning, her sister picked the phone.

She said Uche was asleep, having just returned from the hospital where she was given some injections.

Uche posted on her Twitter account around 9am, ”Thank U lord 4 d gift of life! Only U lord did this! Thank U my rock!”
