The poignant scenario orchestrated by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in Osun State capital yesterday which lead to the death of two citizens of the state leaving several other persons critically injured as a result of unprovoked sporadic shooting by NSCDC officials on his convoy has left bitter taste in the mouth of keen followers and quite serious tension in the state which wide cross-section of the state and the nation at large have condemned. There is no sane or patriotic citizen of a society who would set his patrimony on fire nor watch his ancestral estate burning or in turmoil.

It's on this note that Ife East LGA Chairman, Honourable Akinwole Akinwale Safiriyu (Omilaj) aired his opinion on the malicious and vicious conduct of the former Osun State Governor who is consciously upending whatever that remains of his deteriorating political relevance not only in Osun but everywhere.

The former Osun State House of Assembly Minority Leader corroborates the events that lead to the Minister of Interior ordering his guards to shoot sporadically, Honourable Akinwale stated that the eye witnesses have shown to the world through consistent accounts and trending videos captured with their phones that the boo expressions of the people on him and his convoy made him to order his guards to open fire so as to scare the innocent residents who only expressed their disapproval towards Ogbeni Aregbesola with their jeers. The booing of Ogbeni Aregbesola can not be distanced from the trouble and crises he and his lieutenants have being unleashing on different areas and town in Osun State.

Honourable Akinwale warns the former Osun State Governor to thread carefully as he reminds him that during his smooth two terms of eight years in office as Osun State Governor, no one could dare do a fraction of the calumny and embittered challenge of the State government and the substantive party structure he stages now in Osun which disrupts the peaceful ambiance of the state.

In his words, "the open display of bitterness Ogbeni and his men display everywhere from Ikirun to Ilesa, to Ipetumodu to Ikire which reached its climax yesterday in Osogbo when their catastrophe lead to loss of lives is unbecoming of a responsible supposed leader and it may not be tolerated anymore. There are better ways of expressing grievances, this style of Ogbeni grazing his boys over an internal party crisis is unacceptable and condemnable. Why going dirty on party affairs? It is nasty propagating a hatchet with a sitting Governor especially to the one who is a blessing to the state because of how he has made governance people-centric. What do you want? Say it now or be careful forever.
