arthurwillia: Accounting is a good course but the labor market is overpopulated with basic and chartered accountants. Hence, the lack of jobs amongst most graduates. Accounting is just like law now where you have so many charge and bail lawyers. 1 Like |

Great achievement. Kudos. Things are happening. I was at babcock law campus yesterday, what I saw ehh. See kids, looking as if they cannot brush their teeth. When you ask, they are in 300l, 400l. I am talking of 16, 17, 18 year Olds ohh! Ass howw?? How manage? Did they enter uni at 14? I saw one "Tata" ie small boy they said was in 400l. Meanwhile, my person said all those kids were brains, that you cannot imagine how intelligent they all were. All seemed to be obviously ajebota kids to be able to afford the fees. Things are happening. 1 Like 1 Share |

Congrats to him, but in Nigeria a banker or accountant can’t be a nurse or doctor or engineer unless they study it in the uni, why then should other fields be given access to our sector with as easy as no credentials, Doctor can join ican, engineer can join ican, lawyers can join ican, now even jambites can now join ican. Like I don’t get it I have said it before and I will say it again learning an art course is useless 1 Like |

Without the name-calling of "Afonja", "skull mining", etc. I agree with you. A chartered accountant is supposed to be one who has demonstrated both academic and practical experience over a period. Things like this expose.the flaw in our educational and professional system, it exposes that ICAN is merely a paper qualification which any one with a retentive memory can ace. If 10year olds can cram and recite the full Quran, it is a no brainer that a 17year old can pass ICAN. We are too focused on paper qualifications in this country. That has to change DoggoneDogg: 3 Likes |
