Once upon a time!

The popular Lekki on the Island of Lagos, Nigeria we all know today, was formerly known as "ILEKE" by the local people, until the arrival of the Portuguese trader called "Mr Lecqi".

The local people in Ileke referred to the area where Mr Lecqi was living by his name "LECQI".

So the local people will say to each other, that they're going to Lecqi's (Lekki) place, and as time went on, everywhere in "ILEKE" was eventually known as LEKKI.

In the year 2008, a plot in Lekki phase 1, was sold for N6.5Million. Today, the least amount you can get for a plot is N85Million.

And you know what?

People will continue to invest no matter how expensive the land in Lekki might be. This is because people need shelter and investment.

The best investment on earth is earth. The best time to invest is NOW.
