Since I was growing up, I have never seen a place settled by YORUBAS in any other region and there has never been a name attached to it ......

In the Northern Part of Nigeria, IGBOS settled in the SABON GARI part of North, and that part is mostly occupied by the Igbos. And up till now, in Kaduna, there are places ,Igbos have dorminated and the North is not fighting it.

Taking it down to SOUTH EAST, there are places we call the AMA HAUSA quarters , meaning the place designated for Hausa people in the South East and they have the capacity to build their Mosques over there and up till today they live and are living peacefully in South East.

Even in Awka, Anambra State presently, the place designated for them have gotten over populated by Hausa people , presently they are occupying a land mass at the outskirts of Awka called Amawbia and they are building their Mosque there too.

The same applies to the SOUTH SOUTH , in Portharcourt today, we have quarters for Hausa people.

All these well said with facts, then I begin to ask myself what about the Yoruba region?

Why do the YORUBA TRIBE don't have any settlement in either the North or the South East or South South of Nigeria?
