With Nigeria failing to qualify for the U-17 World Cup, Africa's Hopes lie in Cote d' Uvoire and Burkina Faso. With Cote Ivoire featuring one of Africa's best U-17 teams, they scored a whopping 3-2 with Brazil in the second half only to draw when Adryan of Brazil equalized in the 93rd minute of extra time. Although there is a long road for the Ivory Coast Junior Elephants, will they be the Ghana of this U-17 world cup? Or will Burkina Faso be? But either way, I believe the coaches of Nigeria have a lot to learn from both. Who else agrees and who do you believe will go farther? |
