6 Key steps in starting an ad campaign for the first time.

An advertising campaign is a specifically designed advertisement strategy/message carried out across different mediums to achieve a specific goal. Every thriving big or small business today has carried out an Ad campaign to increase brand awareness, increase sales, help target specific customers, and retain customers. There are many more reasons why a new startup or an existing business will carry out an advertising campaign because a business without an ad campaign is like opening a company but not telling anyone about it and still expecting people to know about it.

These steps listed below are very important when considering starting your ads campaign.
1.Define your goals: Clearly state what you would like to achieve from the campaign, is it to increase brand awareness, more sales, to successfully launch a new product into a new or existing market. This enables you to shape and differentiate your offer which will be passed across them.
3.Determine the advertisement budget: Setting a budget is key when planning a campaign to prevent waste and unorganized spending. when planning your budget your need to consider the length/period in which the campaign will run and plan a budget that will sustain the campaign through this period and it is important to also set budgets for unforeseen circumstances.
4.Create the message: Consider your target audience and develop a core message that may need to adapt to the different audience segments and will be able to convey the needed message to the audience, make use of simple, relevant, and impactful messages to get your offer across to the audience.
5.Evaluate and select media: Find the media outlet best for your campaign which also aligns with your goals, audience, timing, and budget.
6.Implement, review and adjust: Roll out the campaign and gather necessary data throughout the case of the campaign, also necessary to monitor every progress and analyze the data gotten from the campaign, so that you can make the adjustment when needed.
