But the fact remains Obasanjo was the person to introduce and implement it . Fun fact 1999 constitution, is essentially an amended version of the undemocratic 1979 constitution drafted during Obasanjo's 1979 military regime and handed to incoming President Shagari to introduce and implement in 1979.
