Prediction that Russia President Vladimir Putin will be 'assassinated by own people in next seven days' as anger builds over Ukraine invasion

A security specialist who hails from West Cork has predicated that Russia President Vladimir Putin will be assassinated by his own people.

Dr Andy Scollick, who is a European Defence consultant, has previously worked in defence analysis as well as advising and was working across sectors in Ukraine as well as other European nations from 2014 to 2019.

The consultant has been following the current situation with Russia closely, and today made a "hypothesis" that Putin would be killed by his own people "within the next seven days".

He said: "Prediction or, rather, hypothesis: Putin will be assassinated by his own people within the next 7 days."

The move came after Putin warned other countries not to intervene with the Ukraine invasion, saying they could face “consequences they have never seen”.

News also broke today that Ukrainian officials will hold talks with Russia at the border with Belarus near the Chernobyl exclusion zone.


In a statement today Ukraine President Volodymr Zelensky said he received a phone call from Belarus' Alexander Lukashenko.

He said: "The politicians agreed that the Ukrainian delegation would meet the Russian one without preconditions at the Ukraine-Belarus border, near the Pripyat River."

Zelensky said he won't speak with Russia in Bellarussian territory, as Russian troops have been entering Ukraine from the country's border.

He said the country is complicit with the invasion.

He also lodged a complaint against Russia with the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands.

In Ireland plans are in place to close all airspace to Russian flights, with Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney saying: "Shocking Russian attacks on Ukraine overnight. Ireland will move to shut off Irish airspace to all Russian aircraft.

"We encourage other EU partners to do the same. We also support new wide-ranging sanctions to be agreed today at EU FAC & new assistance package for Ukraine."

The move is also being implemented by other countries across the continent including their neighbours in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Italy, Germany, Poland, Belgium, The Netherlands, and The UK are also banning Russian fleets from going over them.

The Baltic states implementing the move will prove particularly significant for the state as it cuts off a direct flightpath between Moscow and Kaliningrad at the coast.

Ireland yesterday played a key role in pushing to remove Russia from the Swift banking system too.

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication is the main messaging system banks across the world use to make cross-country payments.

Removing Russia from it makes it more difficult for them to trade, and will have a big impact on their economy.

Besides assassination, it will be good to teach some of the militaries that fond of bullying smaller groups of people a very big lesson, o wish Ukraine luck in this regard even though Russia military are doing their battle professionally unlike their 5 century counterparts who will be going around and setting people's property and businesses ablaze

Abeg before they will carry out this action, they should make sure that bomb called satan liquid or devil liquid is in safe hands because I don't want to hear story that will make me shiver, am overwhelmed with Nigeria problem.

Many Russian oligarchies are speaking out against the invasion. There would be more protests in Russia. It wouldn't end well for Putin.

Ukraine will be in ruins. More resistance in ukraine agsinst Russia occupation. Russia would be isolated from rest of the world. I forsee another Russian revolution.
