Next thing omo they said I can't enter the church that I'm wearing red shorts and black shirt, that I need to wear a garnet o, omo I was like can I just go and buy a white shirt they say no that it's the garment o. Before I know they have brought one for me, (they always have extras).

At first I was scared to put it on but when my client came and was like please just do it for me I just had to cos I was already there, then the said I should remove my earrings, hmmm after all was done I entered the church and to my surprise they conduct normal church service like every other church (mind u I am from a Catholic background).

But guys honestly CCC have girls o, jezz and they can dance (twerking) no offense please. At a time I thought I was in a canival.

But most of all I got to know that not just Yoruba, even Igbo people also attend CCC, like I swear this really enlightened me. To all the CCC members in the house you guys I hail mehn.

On a good day we are very very accomodating to visitors especially for events like the naming ceremony which is a celebration of new life, i can understand their insistence that you not wear black and red at because we believe they are symbol for suffering ( red) and mourning ( black). Your host ought to have hinted you and if you had worn any other colour, they would have not have insisted on given you the Sutana.

But trust me the popular negative public perception of Cele is far from the reality on ground. So much that the very Pastors who started and sustain the negative campaign actually flock to our church parishes for prayers and prophecies to guide their ministry.

Cele services have always been normal but it is when it comes to problem that you'd know that 1 + 1 is not always equals to 2.

During my school days,a friend invited to cherubim and seraphim and i really enjoyed their service especially when they started dancing at exactly 11:45am when according to them the gates of heaven was usually opened at that time. I wore my clothes throughout the service except for my shoes which i removed an the entrance to the church. There isn't much difference between their style of service and the anglican way of service.

Hahahaha! Reminds me of when I had a contract in eastern Nigeria long ago. A white garment church had their building adjacent to the site....boy! No invite needed! The drumming sent all my workers wild! Working and dancing! Each weekend they eagerly looked forward to the time when it starts and boy!! It was fun to watch!

During my early teenage years, they thought I was possessed at home. So my uncle-in-law convinced my mum to allow him take me there.

I really couldn't remember many things that transpired. I remember I was there a couple of times or so. The services were usually long - from morning till around 4pm, I remember they made me wait to see their shepherd. Can't remember what they said about me. I was indifferent cause I know deep inside me, I wasn't possessed. I'm just somebody weird, I'd do things my way not following the norm. Part of my crime then was I usually woke up at night to wash, sweep, fetch water, iron etc.

The irony is, every of those things, I still do them till tomorrow in the night. Last Saturday, I threw clothes in the washing machine at exactly 2:45am. Yesterday, I ironed my office wears at about the same time. My husband even came to the laundry room to gist with me. He didn't see me beside him, he knew where to search. We joked over it. As far as I'm concerned, I owned the 24 hours grace as given by God. I can do whatever thing at whatever time. Shikena!
