My daughter is sumayyah Ajiboye, 9 months and she is diagnosed with chronic liver disease.
A month after her delivery, we discovered she was Jaundiced with pale stool, we went to the hospital and we were told she had a liver anomaly called type 3 billiary atresia.
She need a Kasai procedure to correct it which we did when she was 3months, it was at a time the government hospitals where on strike. We spent about 2million for the surgery and everything was fine.
After two weeks baby sumayyah developed a protuded tummy, and her condition was getting worse.
We were referred to Babcock University teaching hospital, they treated her and she got better.
We go for regular check-up, from weekly to monthly.. every thing seems fine.
On the 3rd of December 2021, we got the news from the doctor that she will need a liver transplant urgently.
Her liver is failing and her clothing profile is not looking good.
We need 20million for the liver transplant and since dec 5th 2021 till now we have received 12.8million donation, we are calling on the public to help us donate to this cause..
