If Ukraine could do that then Russia needs to uphold it's part of the agreement and not make Ukraine regret giving up it's nuclear weapons

The west sponsor a regime change by deposing an elected president who happen to come from eastern Ukraine(Donbass region) in 2014 and install theirs.

Due to this act, the Eastern region of Donbass which are majorly Russian speaking declared a breakaway state but Ukraine declare war on them and has been killing and bombing them since 2014. They have killed more than 14000 ethnic Russian.

Russia annex Crimea majorly ethnic Russian due to this singular act.

The break away state have been asking Russia to recognize them since 2014 which Putin just did.
