I met a lady three months ago at the banking hall. I gave her a ride, she forgot her wallet inside my car. We exchanged numbers, later that day she called me and said she forgot her wallet, I went immediately to check and saw a wallet. I called her to meet me at a particular joint.

So I could handover the wallet to her, she came, opened the wallet and said her money is gone. How much, she said 100k. How can 100k fix very well in this small wallet. She began to shout, within few minutes people gathered and some boys came with bottles and said I should pay the money.

They began to hit on my car and even carried fuel to set fire on me and my car, few people listened and believed me, while some did not. They took my car key and did all sought of threats. Note that this girl asked for a lift and even persuaded me to give her my number.

Just so my life and that of my wife would not be in danger I made a transfer there for her 100k. Took my car from them and go home. That day I couldn't breathe, I hid this from my wife for two months.

But finally I told her. Just three days ago a friend experienced the same thing, he paid 80k and my police friend said it's a new fraud in town. Please post so others could learn. If possible please share for a wider view.

Another format for fraudsters to scam innocent people of their hard-earned money, in these very hard times.

A friend got 25k taken this very way too. Its very terrible.

He met her in the banking Hall and gave her a lift, how did they get to that point? Then they also exchanged number. If it's his fellow man, he won't give him a lift, and even if he does, he will tell him to come and collect his wallet him self. He said he didn't want to put his wife's life in danger but if she had open legs for you like you wished, and you most probably Bleep her raw, you won't be putting your wife's life in danger abi? Abeg getat and bury your head in shame, ashawo man.

you were the cause of your own demise ,why would you give a random person ride. , because na woman right , idiot them no defraud you well, I have always warned men against picking strangers especially when on the road, but most of think with their third leg , you could have help her by giving her TP, but you one form wetin I no know.

Lol. I've been reading this particular bit of story from many WhatsApp broadcast message.

People just imagine stories and share on social media. Isn't it funny how the narrator didn't give the name of the joint he supposedly met this lady?

Also, you want to return someone's wallet to them it's a joint you decided to meet the person, second, a joint they don't even know you and nobody can come to your defence?

Whatever happened to meeting the lady in a public place of well known repute like Ikeja Shopping Mall. Atleast there nobody will make attempt to burn you alive or even meet her at any eatery or fast food joint.

I talk'am say na woman go kill you, if you were not busy looking at her backside while she was stepping down from the car, why did you not notice she has left her purse in ur car? At first why did you cheaplly give out ur number to a total stranger if you do not have the intention of seeing her again? If it was a man that you would reluctantlly assist and he plead to get ur contact you would totaly refuse and think he is a 419. Or why did you not send her ur address to come over to ur place and pick_up her item. because ur wife knows you are a runs_man so you can't take that risk.
