 SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant will be driving and overseeing the end-to-end accounting and finance function and has overall responsibility for the finance and accounting activities. The selected accountant will also be providing support to the management team on a variety of accounting and finance related issues, including but not limited to direct liaison with continent CFO on all issues bothering on inflow and outflow.
The Head of Account and Finance will also be providing on a timely basis an in-depth financial analysis and prepare financial reports, management account, perform research and analysis, maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as may be required through the subordinates, and also champion development and implementation of a detailed SOP to guide the practice and operations of the department and organization as a going concern.

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or cognate discipline
 Experience: 5 to 10 years of current management level experience for a major manufacturing company.
 Certification: ACA, ACCA, CFA or cognate certification is a must have.
 LANGUAGES: English. German and French will be an added advantage
