No Way For Acn In Kwara State – Saraki, Waziri Of Ilorin by opowplus(m): 10:19pm On Jun 28, 2011 |
The Second Republic Senate Leader and Waziri of Ilorin, Dr. Olusola Saraki, has said that the threat of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) that it would soon capture the state was a wishful thinking. The elder statesman made the assertion in a chat with newsmen in Ilorin after the reconciliatory meeting between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) http://www.kwaranews.com/1/no-way-for-acn-in-kwara-state-%E2%80%93-saraki-waziri-of-ilorin |

I'm not even sure why anyone bothers listening to this family anymore. Look at all the measurables. . . life expectancy, education, etc. Have the Sarakis done well? Kwara is simply not doing well and could achieve much more, imo. Their stewardship of the state over the past 40 years or so has not been very good |

ekt_bear: yes actually, chances are you don't have the indices or the stats to state otherwise. Saraki jnr was governor for two term, Saraki snr was never a governor of the state he was just a 'big name' in there, just they way OBJ can throw his name about in Ogun state But I agree Kwara could achieve much more just that the illiteracy levels, population, revenue was never in their favour from the get go |

The Sarakis see ACN as a Yoruba party as they are pro Hausa-Fulani. They do not want any thing that is Yoruba even in their pattern of dressing as you can see in this photo.
