Be cautious, while one of the employees of a Bank was withdrawing cash from an ATM machine, a stranger approached him and asked the staff to help him (the stranger) to withdraw cash from the machine as he was not familiar with the procedure. He gave his ATM card and PIN number to the staff. The staff was kind enough to help him and withdrew N50,000/- from the machine on behalf of this stranger. After a few days the staff was arrested by the CID police, as the camera at the ATM machine had photographed him while he was withdrawing the cash. Apparently the ATM card was a stolen card and the stranger had used this method so that he does not get identified using the stolen card. " We caution all employees and friends to avoid helping strangers in such acts. Rather instruct the customer on how to use it. Please disseminate it round as lesson to others.
