RENDER YOUR SERVICE IN CHURCH

Every Sunday you tell people that you're going to service and when friends and family ask you how was your service today? you say it was awesome, oh! our Pastor preaches so well, the choir sings gloriously that you could even feel the anointing..hmm the ushers are always so polite and the sound was great that's to say the technical department did a great job.

It is good you went to church but did you actually go for service?
If you served, great! but if you were just a spectator watching and clapping for other participants, then you need to have a rethink..

Jesus said the greatest in the Kingdom is the one who serves and not the one who is served.
I urge you friends to join a unit/department or rather create one for yourself as the Spirit leads.
By all means be rendering services to God and other brethren in your local assembly whether it be praying, singing, cleaning, helping, ushering, administration, children's/teenager's ministry, assisting the Pastorate, evangelizing and sponsoring crusade just to name a few.

Every mature Christian you see today, gave themselves to service in church. Just coming to hear the word makes you grow gradually but giving yourself to service makes you grow faster and stronger.

Look for a department you're naturally gifted in and join as soon as possible.
If there's a department you think is not doing too well, but you can proffer a solution then don't waste time complaining about their incompetence just register to become part of them and create the change you want to see.

The Church is the body of Christ and has many members of which Christ is the head. In the same vain, the Pastor is the head of your local church and the other brethren are members of the church.
We all need each other to grow to become the blameless and spotless church, ready for Christ's second coming.

Make a decision today to be a worker in your church and God the Rewarder will pay you all your due wages in Jesus name. God bless you richly.
