By sharing a photo of an unexploded bomb that landed on a residential structure in Chernihiv, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba urged NATO to create a no-fly zone over Ukrainian airspace on Sunday.

In a tweet, Kuleba noted that, unlike this bomb that did not detonate, thousands of Ukrainian citizens had died as a result of other bombs that have detonated in the 11 days since Russian forces invaded the nation. According to him, the only option to stop the bloodshed is to restrict Ukraine's airspace or supply the country with war planes.

“This horrific 500-kg Russian bomb fell on a residential building in Chernihiv and didn’t explode. Many other did, killing innocent men, women and children. Help us protect our people from Russian barbarians! Help us close the sky. Provide us with combat aircraft. Do something,” Kuleba wrote.

The Russian Defense Ministry warns that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and militants from the right-wing extremist Azov battalion are preparing a provocation with the possibility of radioactive contamination around Kharkiv.
"The SBU and the militants of the Azov battalion are planning to blow up the reactor [at the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology] and accuse the Russian Armed Forces of allegedly launching a missile attack on the experimental nuclear facility," the ministry said.
