The value of compensation is decided after evaluating the route distance, ticket class, and many other factors.
Those who have a refundable and non -refundable ticket are eligible for a full refund. Icelandair’s ticket cancellation policy does not apply if the flight is delayed for more than 5 hours. All passengers will be compensated by the free service.
When a flight is delayed or suspended due to climatic factors, the airline may not provide compensation. In such cases, the airline will notify the passenger first. Passengers can keep track of all regular flight updates on the official Icelandair website.
