We know they have nuclear weapons.
We also know the US not only looked away when Israel was building their nukes, but also supported them with resources.

My saying it does not change anything...since I am opposed to nuclear weapons personally, and don't want any nation, Israel included , to have nukes. I am also relaistic that my ideal is impossible, and also relaize that nothing can stop Iran or any nation from getting nuclear weapons (and anyway, Iran is also going to benefit from nuclear power in peaceful ways, so I don't care)
