When Endsars destroyed most of the brand new abroad delivered buses, you guys were cheering them on. Now to compensate they had to go local with the ones without camera. See the effect?

Una don start this rubbish? What has endsars got to do with a driver picking up a passenger and getting her killed. If not for the messages left behind by the victim no one would have known about her case.

The cost of each brt bus are inflated times 3 of the original price in the budget despite it is not a state of the art buses.Lagos state government is one of the most corrupt government when it comes to inflation of contracts and perversion of justice.Tinubu will block any politician under investigation for corruption from being tried in court.

Those brt buses belongs to the people. It is money from levies the government collect from traders and civil servants that they use to acquire those buses. They don't belong to tinubu or sanwo-olu as you are thinking.

What is this nonsense submission by Sanwoolu?

Why are we just hearing about the fact that a bus with its lights turned off means the bus has closed for the day and we should not board them? The government concealed this information from the people for so long till a criminal minded driver used the information for his nefarious activity, now the goverment is yearning megede fegede....smh. So in a way the victim is responsible for her gruesome death cos she didn't have the information the government failed to provide?

Everything about this sanwoolu just reeks of incompetence.

His own is just to jump in front of the nearest available camera taking pictures and posting on instagram.

Why approve use of such ones while the rest have?

He is not making it compulsory for BRT to have cameras installed I spot someone trying to keep the human harvesting business going on maybe one of their clients. This man is not a governor.
God bless you for this. Imagine him saying this will totally swing the case against the girl's family irrespective of this, there are still lots of evidences to look at besides look at the case of that young boy that died in dowen college. Nothing meaningful has been done up till now and now this again. sincerely this govt takes things with levity but try to portray themselves as if there are working assiduously to get things done which they aren't sad

So the driver switch off his light because he is not supposed to carry passenger but he carried Bamise and still carried the alleged killers ?

The Governor has further confirmed that it is a 'predetermined operation' as against the incoherent submission by the driver. Sanwoolu is vicariously liable for the death, as killers were contracted staff of the State.
there is sumtin suspicious and its very clear that the driver has some people that are backing him up because a case of this magnitude shldnt be treated like a peace of cake.

Did you read the part where it states some are locally supplied? How are we sure this didn't come from SE?

The family should sue the Lagos State government.

It would not bring their daughter back but they would get some deserved settlement money and it would prevent it from happening again.

I hope we are not trying to throw away the baby with the bath water.

Getting local vehicles is the right decision, but the govt should ensure they install CCTV.

It's a sick excuse from the Governor to have even mentioned this. We expect standard practice from the government. Ideally, uuniformity should be maintained in the vehicles for safety reasons.

Even as of today you can still see them and their reactions. They don't always have solutions to problems but all they no is to add to it and later they will be looking for someone to heap blame on.

Don't mind those arsonists whose lineage will never see any good things, they burnt the brand new imported biases that all the 5 states in their cannibalistic region can't afford, out of jealousy

Now their hatred filled soul are now cooking each others heads with their Egusi soup

They will finish themselves as punishment for their destruction of Lagos

Forget what you're saying.. That driver will soon reveal his accomplices in no distance time.. The scenario of everything that happened clearly shows that it was a staged killing..

so sad, it's like this present Nigeria system favor criminals, terrorists, kidnappers, bandits, e.t.c. to the detriment of law-abiding and helpless citizens.
north, south, east and west, nigerians are dying needless deaths in the hands of their fellow evil citizens, who knows they are way ahead of the law of the land, because of the archaic system, we still operates in this modern era.
God save Nigerians.

I agree with you totally. It means we have criminals, terrorists and bandit leaders in charge of the affairs of the country.

Is the Governor insinuating that poor Bamidele boarded the BRT bus at the wrong time? Is he indirectly trying to put the blame on her?

Bamidele trusted that BRT is about the safest means of transportation in Lagos, she would never have thought the unfortunate could happen to her or anyone in such a bus; even the video she made, that went public, we all could hear her laughing whilst expressing her concerns to her friend.

Mr. Governor, justice must be served, please do not fail this innocent girl.

Gov Sanwoolu should invite Fashola with immediate effect.....he is good at identifying camera at this point.

Please the driver and conductors should be drilled. The truth about how she died can not just be a story in nollywood movie.

Rest in peace dear. May God grant you mercy on your sojourn.
na fashola buy the bus. Fashola was able to identify that of lekki toll gate bcus it was constructed in his regime.
Ask dem to call Ambode..

Let's assume the buses were foolishly burnt, does that mean they shouldn't care about the security of the citizenry? Why procure "substandard" vehicles?
I thought security of lives and property is their foremost responsibility?

No one is supporting the burning of the buses but government can't afford to be irresponsible.
