There are parts of the scripture (Psalms & Romans) where it seems the writers are saying there are no Good or Righteous people on earth, but if you go to the beginning of Book Job, Job is called a upright and perfect, which seems to be contradicting the Word of GOD where humans are declared unrighteous or evil. It's not a contradiction atall because that part in Psalm & Romans are referring to worldly people not children of GODwho have been made Holy/Righteous by the Holy Spirit through baptism. But I don't recommend you go about calling yourself a Righteous person or lifting yourself up... GOD will humble such people and they may realize they can't be righteous by their own power. It's GOD that makes us righteous, so all Credit and Glory should go to HIM alone. 1 Like |
