Neglected tropical diseases has really affected Nigeria as a country, and the thing is that many people don't know about this diseases because it mainly affects the poor.

This diseases include river blindness, elephantiasis, trachoma and a lot more. The good thing here is that these diseases are preventable and also curable.

There is a popular saying "prevention is better than cure" If we can prevent this diseases then the burden will be reduced.

The best way to prevent NTDs is through clean water and environment, through this the vectors won't have an habitat which will reduce infection level.

So let us try and keep our environment clean and also water clean

Tackle NTDs, let the youth join the fight against NTDs.
