You're claiming Japan knows how to defeat Russia. Is it because of one war they won against Russia? They've won once against Russia while Russia beat them twice before the WW2 and during the end of WW2, forcing their asses to surrender to the USA.

The russians gave the Japanese a very hot defeat that they were forced to sign a ceasefire and agreement with the Russians.
This defeat was the main reason why they didn't simultaneously attack the soviets with the Germans. They hoped the russians would honor their ceasire but after the russians finishes dealing with the Germans, they declared war on Japan. Japan remains the only country that has been nuked in history. They have that experience. They will NEVER attack another nuclear country talkless the most powerful nuclear country in the world. Meanwhile, Churchill and Roosevelt told Stalin that they needed his help to deal with Japan since the Japanese didn't want to surrender to them. Stalin then told them that he would help them deal with Japan appropriately after he's done with Hitler and Germany. And that once he finished with them, withing 90 days, which is 3 months, he would attack Japan. Stalin kept to his words. After he finished with Germany, he attacked Japan with more than 1 million troops. Meanwhile, the Japanese were still willing to keep fighting even after they had been nuked twice by the USA.
But once Stalin attacked them. Their generals almost shit in their pants. Fear gripped them and immediately ran to the USA to surrender because they knew the russians would annex all their lands that they manage to get their hands on.
