I noticed that before you count 30 cars on the road you would likely count more from Hyundai unlike Kia.

What are they doing correctly? Also the Nigerian used are quite cheap compared to their parts which is quite expensive.

A 2001-2005 Honda civic engine can be gotten for 100k a Nigeria use that you bought 700k. But Hyundai engine is 600k a Nigeria used car you bought like 700k.

If the parts is that expensive why are people buying it. I also understand people convert the engine instead of buying the high priced engine.

I have been noticing the trend too. Apart from the fact that Hyundai cars are quite beautiful, i still wonder why it is so popular.

But I am here to learn.

They are good cars. My first car is sonata 2002 and presently using Tucson 2005. And never have any regret.

Hyundai's are generally more appealing than KIA. And since most of our tokunboh cars come from USA & Canada, whatever brand sells well over there and has good reviews will be brought here too. 2012 Hyundai Elantra brought success and trust to the brand in the US, its ranked as the most reliable Hyundai car next to Tucson.

Hyundai cars are reliable, durable, strong and have good interiors. Check the fantastic reviews on different websites e.g Edmunds etc.
It's Nigerian roadside mechanics that have and are still damaging the brand due to their lack of knowledge.

You need to see the 2021 Kia K5 physically,that car is so beautiful with dope interior,i actually prefered it than the 2021 Elantra.

The only Hyundai i loved than Kia,is the Accent in the subcompact segment. It looks better than Rio.

simply put Kia targets honda as competition while Hyundai targets Toyota as competition .. brand philosophy is different .. and genesis is the Luxury brand for the company.
