A 28-year-old South African woman is due to appear in court today in Taung Magistrates' Court for the alleged murder of her 1-year-old daughter. Her court appearance is related to an event that occurred late on Friday, March 11th, 2022, according to the South African Police Service. The police revealed that the 28-year-old woman was allegedly seen leaving her home in Dryharts with her 1 year-old baby girl, but subsequently returned alone, according to the grandparents. After thorough investigation and search operations, the baby's lifeless body was found in an open bushy area on Saturday afternoon, March 12th, 2022.
