Suicide is a death caused by injuring oneself with the intent to die. A suicide attempt is when someone harms themselves with an intent to end their life,but they do not die as a result of their actions. Suicide is as equal to murder, which is what is self murder. God is the only one to decide when and how a person should die,The taking of one's life is ungoldly because it rejects God's gift to life. Many who wrestle with suicidal thoughts and tendencies often feel all alone in their struggle. A person who is born again,who has experienced God's grace ,who really has faith wouldn't think of commiting suicide . Well a true Christian would never commit suicide. Psalm 34: 17 - 20 says; when the righteous cry for help,the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous,but the Lord delivers him out of them all,he keeps all his bones not one of them is broken. When you trust in the Lord and depend on him you will be free from so many troubles.

CAUSES OF SUICIDE

There are so many causes of suicide but few will listed below.

1. Loss of a loved one



It causes so much pain to loose the ones we love to death,the thought of it and the good times spent together, breaks ones heart,and thinking they are never going to come back can put alot in a person's mind. The Bible says; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there mourning,nor crying,not pain anymore,for the former things have passed away. Job in the Bible lost his ten children and all his properties, but still praised God. Job 1:22 says,"In all this Job sinned not,not charged God foolishly". Some people blamed God for what has happened in their life and forgotten that if they call unto him he will answer them no matter the situation.

2. Financial problem



Lack of finance is major problem in the society, Money they say is the root of all evil,In all things you have to put God first because he is the giver of all. Money is becoming a major problem in the society. Some people do alot of evil to get money. The ritual killing,stealing and also kidnapping happens because of money, one can even commit suicide because of money,but that doesn't mean we shouldn't ask God for it because he has said he will supply all our needs. Mark 4:19 says; but the worries of this life,the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. The key to acquire wealth is God,when you seek him in prayers he will answer you.

3. Spiritual problems



The truth is, some problems which happens in a man's life is not ordinary,there are some spiritual forces controlling the destiny and life of a man, some even cause an afflictions in a person's life. When you check in your life the things happening that are not suppose to be ,then there is something controlling that situation. Job 2: 7 says; so went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord,and spite job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. Job didn't sin against God but those evil things still happened to him because it was a spiritual problem. His friends and family didn't know what he was facing,they don't understand his pain, instead of encouraging him,they accuse him of sinning against God . Job was all alone no one to side him ,he was in pains but that didn't made him to kill himself, after those problems Job encountered God still answered him and blessed him more. Sometimes situation can make you to kill yourself,but that doesn't mean you should give way to the devil , because it might be that the day you die is when your blessings will come. In prayers ask for forgiveness and also put your trust in him and not in man. The truth is God cannot lie he is always there to save you
