Saudi will loose if it goes ahead with this because it already has a very skilled competitor that can replace it and change the terrain against Saudi in its backyard!
So let us see how it comes out!
Russia underestimated and it is now in a fix
Zelensky slacked and he is a mess
China has been cautious and has been holding strong
Us goofed
Let us see if Saudi will make a goof
Unfortunately Russia and USA are full blown out enemy now

Russia will back Saudi Arabia military

I know that the Keystone is a pipeline and I did mention it. Pipelines vs trucks? cool Is a huge difference in balance and imbalance. cool otherwise no one would be talking about the damn pipeline.
The only people talking about it are people that know zilch about how the industry work.

Canada has been sending down a record number of oil barrels to the US from 2021 till date despite the pipeline not going ahead. I bet you did not know that.

The pipeline is just a means of transportation (safer perhaps as there are no issue of derailment except leaks), nothing more to it.

But Saudi will still rush to USA to buy ammunitions to use against Yemen or to keep Iran at bay.

China won't invade Taiwan just as Russia invaded Ukraine. Unlike Putin, Xi is not stupid.

Of course

China needs USA more than USA needs them

Who are the dictators you are talking about?
MLS and Xi. Doing deals with the West is safer for them because the West has rules and is quite predictable. Saudi Arabia would be unwise to alienate the US & rely on Chinese currency as Xi can unilaterally break their agreement anytime, and nobody would be able to stop him just as no one can stop Putin. Stalin learned this in WWII when Hitler invaded the Soviet Union despite their alliance and agreement. No honour among thieves.

SA is a monarchy. Xi is not a dictator and he can't unilaterally make decisions. There is the CPC (Chinese Communist party) of which Xi is the general secretary. He is beholden to them.
You need to get knowledgeable about China and stop listening to all that the Western media tells you.

You can use this space in Quora to learn more about how China's political system works:

You talk about Xi unilaterally breaking an agreement, hasn't Biden (US) unilaterally sanctioned countries they don't like? Hasn't the US unilaterally invaded countries they don't like? Hasn't the US unilaterally toppled democratically elected government (Egypt's Muslim brotherhood president Mohammed Morsi) and (Ukrainian govt in 2014) because they didn't like them?
You are talking as if the US holds itself accountable to rules and regulations when the evidence is there that it does not.

Xi can't unilaterally break any agreement, thus shows that you don't know anything about China. The US also unilaterally breaks agreements, was it not The US that sanctioned Maduro's Venezuela only to come back to them in order to counter Russia? Where's the morality there?

Saudi Arabia is currently negotiating with China

Saudi cannot, Saudi is just trying to bargain to get US support with the Houthis. No be same Saudi? They dare not lol

They are on the top 5 of countries with high military budget, the Us trained them, but they still want the US to fight their war for them. They are just looking for war to bring US to negotiation table.

Xi is transforming the country from a party dictatorship to a personal dictatorship, just as Putin did in Russia. The CEO of Alibaba complained about his policies and he disappeared for a couple of months and they went after his business. I would like to challenge you to find one Chinese person living in China who publicly criticized Xi in the last 2 years and didn't face strong repercussions.

It's not about morality. It's about predictability and reliability. The West is a predictable system whose interests are well understood and reasonable. They are accountable to their people, who have the freedom to criticise and remove them. When they make mistakes, they learn from their mistakes and strive to do better. For example, after revelations of their torture of Iraqis, they largely outlawed it. Leaders are removed before power corrupts them completely. There's a reason why every Nigerian wants to Japa to US or UK or Canada or Australia and not China or Russia or Iran or North Korea. The West is simply better. Not perfect, not saintly, but still much better.

Saudi is just making noise because they want Biden to continue to support their war in Yemen. Dictators know better than to rely on each other.

I see a lot of persons above commenting with sentiments. Leave them, they think it easy as said for Saudi to be accepting Yaun as against Dollars. Saudi like you said, are trying to force Biden to keep supporting their War in Yemen.
That Saudi Crowned Prince is also angry that Biden said he was the mastermind and responsible for the murder of Saudi journalist in Turkey.

Are you actually comparing what pipelines carries with what trains carries? It's funny.
