My Nysc Diary (lagos Camp) by Havesomesense(m): 11:10pm On Mar 18, 2022 |
I am a PCM of NYSC Batch A Stream II. I knew my posting will be Lagos State, so I relocated to Lagos few weeks back. My call up letter came up, I was deployed to Lagos just like I planned. I reported to camp today "18 of March", I arrived at the camp by few minutes past 12pm, I completed my registration before 5pm. I was made the Leader of my Platoon by my Platoon Officer. I was also able to get a nice bed space and mattress. Today been the 1st day of camp we did not march, however we were addressed by the Nigerian army on our White & White, they gave us orientation. In the evening, I and some of my roommates took our Meal card (meal ticket) to go and collect food. We were served Garri & Ogbono soup, the food was manageable. All PCMs' were later called after dinner to watch videos of past Corp members that did incredibly well in their PPA. Tomorrow will be hectic, I have to wake up by 3am so I can prepare for morning parade. I will keep y'all updated, bye for now. 2 Likes |

Yesterday (Saturday) I woke up by 2am to prepare for morning parade. Morning parade for PCM is very tasking and stressful. I marched till my feet began to pain me but I soldiered through. Morning parade begins by 4:50am - 8:00am, then we take a 1 hour break (Breakfast included during this break), by 9:00am we resume marching till 1:00pm. I joined OBS yesterday and I'm loving it there, now I don't have to march anymore, for those of you who know, OBS comes with special privileges. I was so involved with OBS yesterday, I didn't bother to go to the kitchen to collect food. I have met many interesting people and I've also collected contacts of people that I think can help me achieve my aims and objectives. My advice for Corp members is to be active in camp, you can meet someone that can take your business or career to the next level. I'll be providing more info later tonight. Happy Sunday Fam! 2 Likes |
