In order to further meet up with the standard of their urban counterparts, secondary schools in creeks of Edo State, Nigeria have enjoyed the first edition of Oasis Foundation's career and academic seminar for students in Ewohimi.

Also, the Foundation commissioned two sign posts constructed for Okaigben Secondary School, in Idumagho, Okaigben.

Founder, and the convener of the projects, Mr. Segun Damilola Olaniyan, in a statement made available to pressmen said competition is aimed at bridging the gap between schools in different areas, rural schools and their urban counterparts in the area of academic completion and exposure.

Furthermore, he disclosed that schools at the seminar were Canaan Group of schools, Excellent Charity group of schools, Continental Group of schools, Okaigben Secondary school, Ewohimi Secondary School, Unity Secondary School, Agadaga Secondary School, Our Private Group of schools among others.

The seminar for students in Ewohimi was held on 8th February, 2022 at Ewohimi Cultural Hall.

Facilitators were Miss Thona E. Wusu, Mr Femi Dada, Engineer Ridwan Anifowose, Mr. Jaiyesinmi Olalekan Gafar, Mr Musa Ayonote among others.

The speakers, in separate addresses, enlightened the students on the topic and each person spoke on different topics as related to the various departments in schools.

This was followed by question and answer session between the speakers and the students.

Some of the prominent people who graced the occasion are Pastor Godfrey Ogie Ikehenemue, Area and Resident Pastor Living Faith Church, Ewohimi, Mr. Godwin Omoibagbe, S.S.A to Edo State Governor, Mr Julius Enomobhor, Secretary ANCOPSS Esan South-East LGA, Mr. Biodun Coker, CEO Speed light Academy and School Principals/Proprietors.

It would be called that Oasis Foundation had earlier done 'One Child, One Book' Project on Friday 28th January, 2022 at Okaigben Secondary School, Ewohimi, Esan South-East LGA, Edo State.

Students from Okaigben Secondary school, Ewohimi Secondary School, Continental Group of schools, Our Private Group of schools, Unity Secondary School and Cannan Group of School were participants in the event

Continental Group of schools came first, followed by Okaigben Secondary school and and Canaan Group of school.
