No doubt Ondo State has it greatest treasure not in the abundance of the various natural resources found in its lands but amongst it youthful populace; energetic, brilliant and creativily proactive young set of people with great hope for the future who are set to create a path for themselves to greatness given that are afforded the much needed incentive to thrive.

Born to the family of the late High Chief Amuda Apo Yusuf ,the Onisula of Akure land, Olamide Yusuf popularly known as G-BLACK comes with a wave of new ideas, brilliant and people oriented ideologies for the benefit of the greater good of all. The Akure born and bred young politician comes from a generation of change makers, comitteed and vibrant set of progressives who are willing to walk the talk and do the needful.

Having lived the most of his life amongst his people right from his childhood days,he understands the ways and yearnings of his people. He carries their burden at heart and he seeks no other opportunity than to get a platform to positively advance the cause of his people.

His trajectory into the state politics has seen him even from a tender age positioned himself as a viable tool to help other minds become self dependent and financially stable.

Asides being a successful entrepreneur, he has served his people in many capacities which has seen him thrived greatly. He has made his mark in so many areas in the State, from community development through various projects in works and transportation, health care and education, he continues to do more for his people.

It would also be recalled that he was the only SUP Councillor selected with the Akure South Exco led by Chief Olu Ojo for the 2019 MHA, MHR, And NASS for the 11 Wards Campaign.

Olamide Ahmed Yusuf (GBLACK) is a grassroots politician who understand the need for someone to rise up to the occasion and make a decision to advance the growth and development of youths and all member in his constituency, presents himself a credible candidate, well suited for the position MHA constituency 2 Akuresouth local government under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State. He has been described as many as a true progressive with a strong commitment to good governance and leadership in Nigeria. His laudable antecedents is a pointer to what he has to offer is as he has been oppotuned to serve in various capacities through which he has garnered the much needed virtue for this important role.

He once served as the Co-ordinator and sponsor of the Hero platform a youth wing in Akure South LG to support Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu. SAN election in 2012, although young he was heavily involved as he gave his moral and financial support to ensure the success of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN. Also he contested for councilor election 2018 and won the primary before the election was cancelled

He was appointed sup councilor representing ward10 Akure south with several achievement 2019 among which is the fact that he was the first in progressive sup councilor in history to empower is wards members between little of three months in office, also he served as the President central of sup Councilor 2019 set and to his credit, he boasts of several achievement to promote the governor and the party. As a result of his sterling performance, he awarded Mr Empowerment 2010,2022

He is a resolute team leader, mobilizer and a highly proactive individual, in the year 2020, he lost his primary election with just one vote, accepted defeat honorably without choosing to contest the election result,contesting for the position of state youth leader lost to a consensus candidate.
He was made youth media chairman for LAF 2022 campaign for house of rep by-election with outstanding result defending the candidate throughout the campaign, he's the state coordinator Youth alliance for Tinubu movement for president. When it come to election from unit ,ward to state level Gblack olamide will always deliver.
