When the Flashlight app won't turn off, it's a typical problem on Android smartphones. This problem can be caused by a variety of factors, and it can be resolved in a variety of ways. To avoid overheating your smartphone and battery, make sure you don't leave your flashlight on for long periods of time. When the flashlight doesn't go out, all you have to do is restart your phone.

If you're using a third-party software to control the flashlight on your device or if you have a modified ROM, Kernel, or MODs installed on your device, you're more likely to encounter troubles with the flashlight.

When a flashlight won't turn off, the first thing to try is to restart your device. If you can't get your device to reboot normally, try removing the battery or pushing the Power and Volume buttons simultaneously for a few seconds to force a reset.

How to fix the flashlight on an android

Find out if your device is not in power saving mode.

Disabling certain features like the Vibration or torchlight when your phone is in power saving mode saves battery life and reduces background data usage. To extend the life of your phone's battery, certain features have been deactivated. To get your flashlight to operate again, turn off power saver mode. To disable power saver mode, go to Settings >>> Battery Saver >>> Disable. Select TURN IT OFF from the three dots in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Remove the app that made the flashlight stop working

Malware that prevents your phone's flashlight from working can be found in applications that use your phone's camera. To fix the phone torch, uninstall any apps you've installed recently and restart your phone.

Clear up your camera app's information

It's possible that your camera's settings were messed up when you were using it. To restore your camera to its default settings and enable the flashlight, clear the camera app data. Camera app data may be deleted by going to Settings >>> APPLICATION MANAGER >>> ALL >>> CAMERA >>> CLEAN. CLEAR INFORMATION.

Use a flashlight app from a third party.

If your built-in flashlight doesn't function, try another one of your apps. You may search for "Flashlight" on the app store by typing it in the search field. Search for the flashlight app of your choice and download it.

Reset the phone

Factory reset your phone if you've tried everything else and your phone flashlight still doesn't function. This will remove any software anomalies that are preventing it from working. Go to Settings >>> System Settings >>> Factory Reset. Make a copy of everything and start over. >>> RESET THE FACTORY DATA After a factory reset, enter your password and then wipe your phone clean.

Please make a backup of your data before resetting your phone, as this will erase all of your data.

Make sure the flashlight is working properly by switching it out. Additionally, inspect the Flashlight's capacitor for water or physical damage. Replace it if it's broken. It's possible that the preceding remedies will fix your flashlight issue, but if the problem persists, you should factory reset your device after backing up your data to an external device.

Use the flashlight app that comes with your phone
